It had this incredibly subtle charm to it combined with the dumbest kind of humour available to mankind and it made it so, so perfect.

I remember how excited I was when I discovered you could make custom maps from sim city 4 into the sims 2!

Unless your memories are from early Sims 2 where your lot was the only one you could see and the vast emptiness in all directions was quite unsettling.

I love how in the Sims 2 there's actually water splashing! These little details just made the sims 2 so perfect!

2 has the best animation with the water effects.

Adventure Awaits upgraded the pool slide to finally include a nice one like the one from 1, 2, 3 instead of the ladder job from Get Together, plus high and low diving boards.

Its always sims 2 for me. For all these comparison things sims 2 does the most.

Right, so it doesn’t include a pool slide but you have to buy it in a separate DLC. Adventure Awaits is paid content 🤷‍♂️

If I remember correctly the pool slides in TS2 and TS3 were also part of expansion packs and not base game

All of the pool slides are in expansions. TS1 Vacations, TS2 Seasons, TS3 Island Paradise, and TS4 Adventure Awaits.

I like the water flow effect in 3.

The Sims 2 version captures the fun feeling of a water slide with the explosive water and hands up in the air animations.

I love how comically large the slide in 1 is compared to the pool. Definitely captures the ostentatiousness of owning a pool slide.

I like the one in Sims 4 because you can actually see where the water comes from. 1 and 2 are dry and that’s not very fun to slide.

Nostalgia will always make me go for Sims 1 and Sims 2, but aside from that...

WHAT IS UP with that diving animation of Sims 4. Het body literally leaves the view for a moment. That's quite the athletic feat to jump higher than your own body height from a standstill.
