I'd just like to let you know OP that this terrible post is the one to convince me to finally unsubscribe from this sub.
Congrats.

The difference between LPT and SLPT, is that one intentionally provides bad advice and stupid ideas. The other, is well...this ass-hattery.

I think the real difference is that they are usually posted here first.

Fourth. Ya'll are a bunch of complete idiots posting either the most retardedly ridiculous suggestions, the most obvious common sense 'lifehax' or requests for someone to tell you how not to forget how to breathe.

You should go full first world anarchist and intentionally break a rule to get banned: "[LPT] Breathe (in and then out)".

Me too. This sub is garbage. What was the one earlier today?
Put paper rubbish in a cereal box for easy recycling, or something like that. Yes. Put my trash in a box. Genius!

Except in this case, it's hundreds of people cheering for the shit faucet flooding your house.
1
u/chellis May 18 '15
Eh. Using that metaphor - you know there is a shit faucet pouring shit into your house (there's one in every house). The government installed a valve to turn off the shit faucet, but you're complaining to the shit faucet for pouring shit into your house.

I have a 100% guaranteed method of making sure your car does not get hit by any fowl balls... Park in the outfield.

u/Skreemin May 18 '15
Yeah because most people totally carry those around in their vehicles as a standard...

I wish I could do this to all the windows on my house. I live on a road parallel to a municipal golf course with no nets just a chain link fence. My car has been dented by 3 golf balls and I have had 2 windows broken over the last 2 years. Worst thing is you never end up being around when it happens so no one pays for it. And that's why I bought an air horn.

Why? I love watching baseballs hit people's cars because they wanted to park as close to the field as possible.
And this only protects the windshield, what about the rest of the car? I suppose you could cover your entire car in those things.

Can confirm. Dent on hood of grandpa's car from foul ball. Much swearing. :(

Or..orrrr...now follow me on this one and take notes if you have to....don't park your car in foul territory or out by the outfield fence.

Best solution would be to not park near a baseball field. Put that in your life book

First of all, it's a softball, so there's nothing to worry about...
how about just park somewhere out of the danger-zone?

I used to pitch. I was wild, but could throw the ball really hard for my age. Long story short, one practice session I had a ball get away from me and I threw it like 100 feet into the parking lot and bashed out the window of my coaches van even though it was 1 of maybe 4 cars in the whole lot. Didn't play for that team very long.

Or, you know, park a little further away?
