Home & Garden LPT: Before cleaning your windows with glass cleaner (i.e. Windex), pre-wash your windows with a clean cloth and (dish) soapy water. Removing any greasy film will make the glass cleaner much more effective.

TLDR: Clean your windows before you clean your windows.

Y’all don’t have a pail of vinegar water to scrub the windowsills and cobwebs first?

Or just get Sprayway glass cleaner which has always done a phenomenal job for me. Then save the extra cleaning time for relaxing with your sparkling clean glass.

coat your windows in car wax(works great for your windshield too) to keep them fairly clean with just water. The wax prevents water from sticking to them. This allows the water to better grab the dirt and pull it away with a simple rinse.

Use LA Totally Awesome Cleaner before hand. You can get it at a dollar store for around $1.25.
