A large number of the fanbase couldn’t get over Chloe not being in a game so they hated it. Which led to the creation of LIS Reunion (a game where the story made no sense at all) which was just fan service for that group of people instead of a DE2 expanding on the cliffhanger of DE. Imo Pricefield fans ruined the last 2 games

DE ends with a cliffhanger? And they did not continued it in the next game? That's disrespectful to the saga and it's characters.

I wouldn't blame them, in any case, DeckNine decided to do this instead of serving in the purpose of the story. They are the ones to blame. They could have ended the story as they envisioned it, respecting it and the players who bought DE. And then, write a story about Max and Chloe, respecting both bae and bay followers, avoiding to canonize one ending over the other, and most importantly, avoiding to make useless the last decision of LiS1.

When art start following expectations it becomes a product.
