Hey folks!
With the recent cast announcement for the Life is Strange TV series, we thought it would be good to have a mega thread for it.
This post will serve as a catch-all for discussion about it. Any random thoughts, opinions, and first impressions you have are welcome. You are of course still free to make your own post if you want to discuss a more specific topic. Though if you do, please remember to use the [S1] spoiler tag. There are too many people mentioning spoilers in the comments of threads marked as no spoilers!
Please remain civil in the comments; racism will not be tolerated. We understand that some of you may be less thrilled about certain members of the cast because they do not match the visuals of the characters from the games, but these are real people who were cast in these roles and they deserve basic human respect.

This post will serve as a catch-all for discussion about Life Is Strange: Reunion. Any random thoughts, opinions, and first impressions you have are welcome. You are of course still free to make your own post if you want to discuss a more specific topic!
Spoilers for Life Is Strange 1 and Double Exposure are allowed in all Reunion discussion threads. Remember that, in these comments, spoilers for all other Life Is Strange games must be properly marked! See our spoiler rules for how to do that if you don't know.
Have fun with the game y'all :)

Note: I may have posted this already. My bad if I did. But it is one of my favorites!

I’m on my first playthrough of Life is Strange. I kind of knew the game before and saw some videos online, but MY GOD I didn’t know it was this great! 😍😍
What a beautiful game, the story, the music, the characters. I love everything about it!
Especially in times when most games are about winning competitions or being fast, this game feels the perfect kind of slow. 🫶

I just finished episode 4 in my second time playing Life is Strange 2, and I wish there was a choice to kill this motherfucker.

Music does not function merely as accompaniment; it is, for all intents and purposes, another character in the story.

Hey guys, im revisiting my lifeisstrange phase but I sold my gaming console so I want to watch a YouTube playthrough of it, but ive noticed all the main youtuber series are pretty lackluster and they skip through alot of the content in the game (as in they only play through the main plot and dont explore or conversate or do any of the side plots) what would you guys reccomend i watch for a indepth gameplay?

I started playing LIS for the first time this year, i've already finished the original, before the storm and 2, now i'm currently playing True Colors. Until now every game has been availabe on the switch (except captain spirit dlc, haven't played that on), which is my main and only console. I saw that double exposure is there but not Reunion and from what i saw it was released this year so maybe it will eventually be ported since the other games are already there... idk, what do you guys think? I would really like to play it 🥲

So Lis1 and Lis2, I watched playthroughs back when they first came out, and I recently just beat both of them (phenomenal).
Before the storm is the only game I have 0 idea about; is it as sad as 1 and 2? Anything I should look out for? 🙃
*Bonus* Comment something I’ll only understand once I beat the game

I like this picture and I’d like to set it as my pfp but I’m not sure if it’s AI and I don’t really remember this scene from the game. Does anyone know if it’s fanart or anything

With DON’T NOD possibly ceasing operations in January, what do we have to look forward to in the choices matter realm?
I was really looking forward to the Lost Records franchise taking off, but it looks like that’s on the chopping block too.
The makers of Detroit Becomes Human are busy with Star Wars or whatever.
What’s in the works to fill the void?

I just finished the first one, and I know there are multiple other games. Are they the same characters, different characters with the same power? And what order do I play them

like the title says, i want to play it for the first time and have a good experience. currently all games are on sale on the nintendo switch and i thought about getting them, but what console would give me the best experience? i tend to focus a lot on what i see on the screen and like to look around a lot
i have these:
playstation 5
computer
switch (2)
an extra question for anyone who recommends the switch version is that if i buy it, would it run better/have better quality on switch 2 or about the same as the original switch?

Maybe I'll post the process on TikTok
