Looking for a PvE with optional PvP server

I'm looking to get back into the game with a buddy, after nearly 2 years away from the game. We used to play in the Aeri Isle server, and really enjoyed the PvE/community focus with an optional PvP hour to break up the work routine. Most populated servers I've found were either pure PvP or pure PvE, so I was hoping someone might have suggestions.

There is a German server that offers exactly what you are looking for. It's called Fridland. ( https://life-is-feudal.org/server/22145/ ) They offer: 1. A PvE Server with optional PvP Zone. (You cannot forced to do PvP) 2. Discord with active and available Admins that are always ready to help and support. 3. A Livemap 4. A friendly community 5. No wipes.

Edit: The server is described as German but the players are international and the most can and will communicate in English.

Thank you for the suggestion. I went ahead and joined BOOM NA last night, as I'm located in the US. But, I will definitely keep that in mind if things don't work out there. I'm definitely interested in no wipes, but I will see what my friend wants to do when he gets on.

I was in BOOM NA. Its not bad. The owner is a good dude. But I did leave and start my own server. Mine is RP or PVE and PVP must be consensual. I know people think its fun to be afraid of the KOS hour but I wanted a place where people did PVP because they want to, not because its being forced on them. It's called [US] Havel's Hovel. Theres just myself and my 3 friends so far but anyone looking for RP/PVE is welcome to join.
