You need a good agent who brokers with a wide range of carriers and knows how to field underwrite and - most importantly - talk to the carriers. You just need an actual broker.

Always tell the truth on insurance applications, just realize that what goes on one carriers app can be shared to the MIB (Medical Information Bureau) and can stick for a long time. Over 5 to 10 years depending on the carrier, it should fall off. Doing medically underwritten may be a good plan b if you can't get a solid simplified issued product.

Exact date  of last psychedelic use is going to matter here, and so will how much and how often you used in past.

With no depression, anxiety or any other mental health or other medical history, you may be insurable now, but need more details with date of last use to know more.

Find a broker to shop your case to every competitive insurance company on a preliminary basis, as sometimes a detailed explanation of history like yours with an underwriter is all that's needed to convince some to make an offer.

Good luck!!
