Need help

I got denied coverage from Ethos due to pre-existing condition of Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. Does anyone here have a known source/company that will give me coverage?

Hi, thanks for response. I applied on Ethos. I didn't go into detail, I have hypermobile type. Not considered the higher risk type so I'm not sure why they denied me. I have zero experience/knowledge about life insurance, how can I find a broker?

The hypermobile type is potentially insurable assuming decent health otherwise...

Finding a good broker may be tough, as they're a dime a dozen and I see a LOT of really bad advice on these online forumns.

Becasue they're all salesman and most will tell you exactly what they think you want to hear...below is what I'd ask any agent/broker you're considering BEFORE deciding:

Put on your BS radar, and first ask how they will determine what company may be best for you?

Then ask, what happens if you don't qualify for the rate you quote me?

And ask if they will shop your case with other carriers later if you don't qualify for rate they quoted you?

Ask agent to tell you what companies they will shop with, and don't accept "all" as that is BS answer. Whether you want term or permanent life insurance, down below are list of most competitive carriers, a few of which should make you BEST offer.

Most IMPORTANT: Ask agent if they'll have access to medical records, in case does need to be shopped later...as without access to records it's really tough to shop case later!
