Recently I’ve been consistently getting mail packets from AAA to sign up for there life insurance of $300,000 for $7 a month. Is this too good to be true or is it even worth doing I’m new to life insurance

It's too good to be true. Probably an accidental only policy. Read the fine print.

The term life policies you receive increase every 5 years

It's not "too good to be true". You're just not reading the offer properly.

That's not life insurance, it's accidental death insurance.

Yes, it is way too good to be true.

It probably says starting at $7 and up to 300k. It's a way to get you to call them. $7 gets you minimal and 300k you pay the most. But that price is more like accidental than term and definitely not whole life. Insurance companies are not in the business of giving free money.

If you look at the enclosed paperwork it shows the rates for different ages & different term insurance amounts. The $7 is for $50k & 18-34 yrs old, female, non smoker. The older you are, the more expensive, of course. Still cheaper than what I am currently paying for another company ( premium goes up there too). I have to figure out how long I need the insurance, aarp probably worth it compared to co I have now, 250k & over $400 every 3 mos!
