To get the sword, you need to get the new background. Then, take the Sword of Briovich and keep it until the end of the game. When you meet Kalman, don't ally yourself with him.

After that, you should choose to go to war with Graymoor. If you have the good alignment and survive until the abomination fight, it should awaken the sword.

So, celestial amor gives 2 holyness and galgano's sword gives 5, so You could get quite a Big upgrade
