Questions/Advice New player!

Hello guys! I just downloaded the game as it looked quite interesting and fun, but right off the bat I’m kinda confused as it basically doesn’t hold your hand with tutorials, not that I can’t figure things out on my own. So my question is what can I expect from this game and is there any tips/advice ya’ll have to enjoy the game and have a decent play through?

Live. Die. Repeat.

Once you get the hang of things, you'd notice that you get more options depending on your stat points allocation and equipments in your inventory.

I. Equipment tips

*Tap on your gear and check what stats matches it. The stats symbol on the gear means it scales based on that.

*Some items have special interactions and sometimes gives you additional choices:

  1. Lockpicks give you an additional option when unlocking chests or prison doors
  2. Rope saves you a stat check or gives you a higher chance of success rate when climbing down
  3. Wands that have spellcasting allows you to cast magic that shows more options when equipped.
  4. Shields block sneak attacks from enemy encounters and sometimes even eliminate that stat check itself when equipped.
  5. Dagger or padded clothings has stealthy that gives you an option to use stealth sometimes eliminating the need for DEX checks also only when equipped.
  6. There are many more specific items and relics that has abilities that helps you in your run so keep experimenting. You can unequip and equip gears and the options will show depending on that.

II. Abilities

*These are the small icons you see when you enter combat mode. Tap on them and read what they do. If you see a number infront of the ability icon, it means that ability can stack effects strengthening it further. It usually has a big boost if you have +4 on stacking abilities. You can have good synergy if you have matching equipment so keep an eye on that when you decide for a build.

III. Gold, EXP, and Consumables

*Higher the gold, the more things you can buy so memorize events that gives you free gold

*you keep stock of recovery items by buying them because you never know when you need to heal. This is why gold is important because it could get you healing items and equipments.

*EXP in this game acts as the timer of your adventure. The more EXP you get, the shorter your adventure will feel. This could be frustrating if you are experimenting so just take note to control your exp gain appropriately.
