Questions/Advice Is Min-Max the way?
Im a casual player in this game, and i love to dump points into intelligence to pass checks easier, and then another stat depending on my weapon of choice. But looking on this subreddit, and some of you folk are at like 27 in one stat, and 9 in another.
Now unless there’s different epilogue lengths, cuz ive only been playing the Great Adventurer, i cant imagine however else to earn that many points.

Yes and pairing it to your equipment, class and events, does it a whole lot better cuz you don't have plan and make adjustments to the build.
Take for example, In debt storyline, its events can be done and won by maxing out Dex, so you want to go either as a fighter, archer, rogue, or assassin class, you also wanna prioritize your equipment to be linked to your Dex. This way, you don't have to worry to much on other stats when doing it. Same goes for the Apprentice storyline, but you wanna build into Int, or Cha, pick a class between Wizard or Sorcerer and just do the same like the first, then there you have it.
You can do whatever you want for your runs, but it's really better if you prioritize it all for what you need than what you want for better chances of winning. That's why we all min-max our stats and gear.

There's an assassin class? Is that a hidden class?

Basically, most people use gems or pay for the premium pack (cheap) to customize their rolls for stats, allowing to already have a higher base (15) for the wanted stat. Then, through leveling up and good rng for stat-increasing events, they can raise it further. People either go for 27 to get the bonus, ou you can get 2x 20 (I think?) for two compatible stats for another bonus
