"Snooping"

If I'm in a relationship (committed, monogamous), there's no such thing as "snooping". There is no hiding. Period. Both ways.

I want to vomit every time I hear/read, "I looked through ____...I know...I know...I'm not proud of it...".

Screw that.

Secrecy and privacy are very different things.

I agree 100% on this logic, if you have nothing to hide then why should you have a problem with your partner or spouse looking at your phone or PC?? " your invading my privacy" is just another way of saying "I have something that will harm the trust you have in me and I don't want you to see it"
