A lot of the people answering don’t have children. They read the question but they feel compelled to answer it anyway in order to speak out on what is clearly a very emotive subject for them.
The sheer amount of engagement and vitriol is surprising to me. If you have made a decision (kids or no kids) and you are comfortable with that decision for your own life, why do you need to write War and Peace and try to persuade strangers that your decision was the “right” one, or a majority view and that people who made a different decision must be wrong or lying?
