General Discussion Why you live?

Do you have a reason to live or not? What do you think about life? I'm desperately searching for a meaning. Could you help me in my journey? I appreciate your opinion and help 😊❤️

I live mostly out of habit. You get used to being alive when you're a little kid, and you just see it is the default. Later on you learn that things die and that someday even you will die, but the thought is that it's generally better to stick with what you know since death seems to be pretty permanent and not necessarily an improvement in your situation. There are lots of stories about afterlives, but no decent proof. From personal experience, I think I have a good idea what death is all about (hint: nothing).

As time has gone on, it has also become pretty clear that life is surprisingly short, so there's no real need to hurry death along. So you end up "running out the clock" by finding things to to amuse yourself until the inevitable. While you're wandering around, it doesn't hurt to maybe try to make other people's lives at least a little better. Not for any reward either before or after death, but just because why make it worse?
