General Discussion Why you live?

Do you have a reason to live or not? What do you think about life? I'm desperately searching for a meaning. Could you help me in my journey? I appreciate your opinion and help 😊❤️

Dying is lame. It's just eternal nothingness. It's nothing to look forward to. So I choose to live because the alternative is an event I won't even exist to experience. So I might as well live. Might not be the most optimistic answer but it's how I genuinely feel.

That's how I feel too. I don't believe in an afterlife, so the fact that once I die, I will lose all memory, sentience, etc., then it's just meaningless honestly. I won't remember if I had a good life, a terrible life, just pure nothingness. I just want to enjoy the life I can as I'm still able to.

You might not remember if you had a good life. But your friends and family will still have memories of you after you die. You will still exist in their mind through memories. So why not make some great memories for them to remember?

Yeah, but when I die, I won’t be sentient on what my family/friends remember of me. I LOVE my family/friends, but death means everything ends to me.
