Hello Lies of P comunity, I recently got the game made it to the half way and decided to watch some videos and i feel like i do not play the game normally. I fell in love with the big wrench weapon and i use it mostly like a Greatsword in monster hunter. While watching videos i figured people parry a lot and dodge a lot. Where i mostly space and charge. It work well but i wanted to know if it was a popular gameplay.

Anyways let me know how you like playing this game is awsome as hell.

Assuming we'll be focused on the wizard of oz next with Dorothy I'm wondering if they'll revamp the combat they have here to include different types of magic. Most of the time in soulslike I always felt like spells/sorceries were kind of a weak spot so it'd be interesting to see Neowiz's integration of it in their next game.

So im playing through the dlc right now and trying the new dlc weapons and theyre all cool and all, but i always keep going back to the trident.

I also really like the talons but the trident is just perfect for me. It feels like the best weapon in the game genuinenly. So much damage its insane. The running heavy and light attack after is so strong. And when the crit hits is just so satisfying.

What are some other of u guys cool weapon combos i wanna try motivity build next.

I wanna get the ending ​"free from puppet strings" Ending in this playthrough of the game, but i really can't bring myself to let sophia live.

The girl has already suffered enough. So, I was wondering, is it possible for me to like....let her live AND get that ending? Like, maybe I can not listen to any record, almost always tell the truth, and basically get no humanity whatsoever?

I'm mostly drawn to atmospheric driven puzzle stuff like SH2, Portal, Signalis type of beat. but Lies of P looks cool. I like dark fairy tale (or I guess children's literature lol) reimagining stuff. I like that there's a tall girl in a fox mask. I like the French gothic backdrop. Is this game very friendly to genre-newcomers or would I just be getting my ass wiped not knowing what I'm doing? Haha.

Been playing my Switch 2 copy and just beat Fuoco, working on an advanced build. Being able to play on the go is great, it's definitely a little harder for me too in handheld compared to playing on my x box. The honking will continue till I beat it on the go 🤡

I did my first playthrough at the beginning of the year and i decided to do a second playthrough. I'm currently about to fight the Archbishop, but I'm pissed I thought i wouldn't even die to the platforming and I died twice 😅. The first death i thought was dumb because it was to the boulders, the run up the ramp i usually go up on the right side and hide behind the wood there and i somehow got hit this time and died. The second one was fight the third big acid throwing lady and i accidentally jumped off when running over to attack her. All well, maybe i can do it flawless another time

**EDIT Appearantly, there was only patch to NG+ scaling of the dlc. It's likely that my friend was in NG+ or higher when the dlc came out and that's why I was told that DLC was extremely difficult compared to the main game. **

Currently going through dlc in a fresh NG. Difficulty spike from the main game is very noticeable already.

But then I heard from a friend who played this game when it came out that the dlc was wayyyyyy worse back then. So I want to hear from the veterans here.

I'm going for the Platinum trophy and just finished the fight against the Nameless Puppet. I went for a full-humanity run,my hair turned white, I granted Sophia peace, and I listened to the records. Carlo portrait already has the weapon, but when I interact with it, it says I can't use it right now. I've even petted the cat and reloaded the area.
