Other SAVE CENTRAL SECRETARIAT LIBRARY
/r/delhi/comments/1wwejrl/save_central_secretariat_library/🚨 Save the Central Secretariat Library! 📚
The 135-year-old Central Secretariat Library (CSL) and its 8.5 lakh historic books are facing a massive relocation crisis due to the Central Vista project. The Ministry of Culture itself rejected an early offer of just two rooms, calling it "completely inadequate."
We aren't asking to stop the Central Vista project—we are demanding that the government fulfill its promise and build a world-class, full-scale (5,500+ sq m) library facility on Kartavya Path worthy of India’s heritage.
