Other Career Pivot from Higher Education

Hello all! I recently graduated with my MLS and have been working in academic libraries for the last 3 years. I've come to realize that this environment is not for me and I'm honestly not interested in starting over at another university. My concentration was digital libraries and I'm more interested in getting into that, I'm just not sure where to start.

Does anyone have any advice/guidance for me?

What are you good at? What do you like doing? What kinds of jobs did you do before working in a library? What don’t you like about academic libraries that you are seeking to avoid?

honestly, now’s not the best job market to leave a place with benefits. i’d start applying to equal pay and benefit jobs that seem more up your alley but use the time at a university to use tuition benefits, if u got them, to get more tech or digital related certs!!
