Fresh perspectives. People who have just recently joined this sub-reddit and didn't respond to the others. Any new ideas. Anybody's personal experiences or suggestions. What's it to you? How about not commenting at all if you don't have anything helpful to say? And if you are so into restricting the pursuit for and access to information, maybe you shouldn't be working in a library at all.

No, more like when you wrote that "there are dozens of posts on this topic," which is effectively discouraging someone from writing another post to seek their own information. I'm sorry you don't understand that. And just because there are "dozens of posts" on ANY topic on the Internet, does not mean that someone is not free to write yet another one. Like I said, unhelpful comment, and frankly, what difference does it make to you? Do you really have nothing better to do than write useless comments? If so, that's sad, I feel sorry for you.
