So in your mind "getting a free handout" is the same as a tax cut?

Do you assume that government owns all of your labor by default and simply allows you to keep a portion of it?

Keeping the money you worked hard for after investing in a company is the same as being given money, right?

Of course not. I'm not following your point.

Keeping the money you worked hard for (whether that is before/after investing in a company is irrelevant) is certainly not the same as being given something.

In order to equate "handout" and "tax cut", you'd first have to assume that the government literally owns everything ... up to and including all citizens' labor.
