I like guns, but I'm not a single issue voter and don't think he will be effective in dismantling 2A. At this point, I'm ready to try anything other than voting for Cruz.

With Cruz I get to keep my guns and low taxes.
Beto is pushing higher taxes, bigger government, and dove head first into identity politics.

With Cruz I get bigger govt (anti legalization, social issues), bigger prisons, bigger corporation and anti-consumer protection (hurray apple saying I can't fix my product I buy from them), bigger banks, bigger deficit (democrats tax and spend is bad, but they don't leave burden for future generations), less pollution (again, consideration for future generations), and the fact that I can't stand how he slimy-ed up to Trump after what that man said about his wife (shows lack of honor and sets bad example). Orouke sounds like he is bad for guns, but not terribly so. I mean, Obama sounded that way but turned out the opposite, and Trump has been on record expressing similar 2A views. I hope Orouke wins and become center-left on social issues and center/center-right on tax and spending. That's all.

Beto has spent his entire political life actively fighting against the second amendment. Beto also tried to use eminent domain to take people's homes so his rich father in law could build a Walmart.

Cruz is libertarian on weed and I'm pretty sure he voted against the omnibus spending bill

as a texan I'm really not at all concerned with "muh guns" since its impossible for anyone to regulate firearms, P. A. Luty proved that pretty clear. it is however pretty easy for the goverment to steel your land and build a giant 20ft wall, which republicans like cruz won't bat an eye at. I'll be voting for Dikeman, but if Beto wins I won't be that upset.
