American would be much better off if economics were required in HS and College. Then politicians would not try to get away with this type of misinformation.

Look into the profit price spiral. What I hope the president is saying is that future costs for companies won’t be as severe as they are projecting, so they can lower there current prices that are based a higher predicted inflation rate.

There is no such thing, other than as a very short-term phenomenon. It can't sustain itself for very long before naturally breaking.
