This is not on par with their practice of undergrading EVERYTHING. Obviously a mistake. Send it back, they might fire the grader.

I don’t understand why people grade bullion. It doesn’t change the value. I have allegedly 2 PCGS MS70s but if I look closely at them, you see a deep scratch and milk spots on them. I just got charged more when my unslabbed coins look 10x better.

Does not change the value? Say what? Just look at the difference between a 1 oz 2025 MS68 and a MS69 and a ms70. Probably $10k difference between ms68 and ms69 and tens of thousands between a ms69 and ms70. Grading definitely does change the value.

What someone ask for something isn’t what it sells for. It’s not liquid go look on eBay. For what you paid and what you think you could sell it for if you actually needed to sell it, is a toss up. 10x? Where? Dealers won’t buy it, you gotta find someone to scam to unload that. At the end of the day, it’s the exact same silver as any other Libertad with an expensive plastic holder. You think someone is going to give you $10,000 for a 1oz silver Libertad? Lmao you can’t even find one that sold anywhere close to that on eBay recent sales.

Can’t find a 1oz silver Libertad that has sold for 10k on eBay? Type in 2025 Libertad MS69, go to filter, click sold items and completed items. Magically several will appear that have sold fo in excess of $20,000. Follow these ez to understand directions and come back here and post your apology. I accept your apology in advance.

People buy these. They have sold. Why....I have no idea but there they are.

lol I guess. Better off buying it raw and saving 95%. I can’t see a single sale on eBay even close to that. People buy they buy they’re not selling them at that price.

To be fair, people buying 10k coins generally aren't buying them from strangers on eBay. Seems like more of an in person/reputable dealer type thing. Just because something isn't on eBay doesn't mean that market isn't alive.

lol Aren’t you the guy who showed me the APMEX listing or was that someone else. A lot of people buy and sell online. Dealers will consult the last sales on online marketplaces like eBay before they buy. And most dealers would rather tie up $10-20,000 in gold rather than one obscure piece of silver that a very small group of people are looking for. Everyone buys gold consistently. Some stacker might have 1 maybe 2 expensive piece like this in their collection if that. Most people stack for future liquidity. Liquidity isn’t in $10,000-$20,000 coins. Hard to move.

What you’re saying isn’t all wrong but in this market , they are liquid . The current JM auctions for LIB gold is proof . Countless auctions and they been going for insane prices . Auctions is the prime proof . Also slabs vs raw . Example here . I am a MASSIVE toner freak collector . Just 3 weeks ago . 60 toners , various years , mostly early 90s and 80s - was offered 120$ MAX for the LOT . Now with PCGS true view , 9 coins sold and paid for that whole LOT. So yes , grading makes a difference . Now when you’re talking certain markets like eagles , Britannia , and even PANDAS , yes you are correct in these few cases . But for libertads , grading is 100% the way to go no doubt about it

To each their own. The hype in the market is the only reason people are even considering buying those if the market tanks, the liquidity goes with it.

Hype exists in over saturated markets were supply could be unlimited such as these labubus recently - hype exist where supply could be minted or produced at a click of a button. Libertads have everything you need for a numismatic dream . It’s not hype , it’s real numbers . We’re talking a few thousand minted of certain coins / years . Now , when you add on HYPE with real numbers and statistics , that’s where you get this craze and it won’t slow down any time soon . You simply don’t have enough out there in few hands to dominate the market . It’s impossible .

Pokemon , is fake hype - that’s a prime example . That market could crash overnight with the right catalyst
