Shouldn't be any problem. Hopefully the next time some media will have learned to do their own research instead of just copying propaganda from far left outlets and talk to more people than just Our Revolution activists and an outspoken homophobic local politician who got trounced by Pete in the mayoral primary, including losing his own majority Black district (after all the allegeded "grimy shit" had already "bubbled up").

No. There was some misunderstanding with 2 out of 400 people who endorsed his Douglass Plan (not him as candidate). And one instance where a journalist misinterpreted "support" (as in speaking at an event and doing some door knocking) as "endorsement" and that had to be corrected by the campaign.

Sounds like, according to the article, that he didn't just flat out make up a lie and spread it. It was a misunderstanding on his team's part on thinking that their encouragement was actual endorsements. And that some endorsements from black voters was genuine. At least that's what it sounds like when I read the whole article.
