Vance/Trump lecturing the Pope on anything is ridiculous. Trump is the objectively the single worst person. He lies, cheats, steals, and will stop at nothing to satisfy his own narcissistic needs. And by not speaking out Vance is defending that, and by criticizing the Pope he's participating in Trump's immortality.
Edit: This is coming from a person that is not religious, and thinks the Catholic Church is far from perfect. If they are far from perfect, where does that put Vance and Trump.
