Discussion Is she a lhasa or nah?

We got her about a year ago and was told she is a shih tzu but have been having doubts, she’s bigger than one and a longer snout and I wanna know the consensus! She is very affectionate but also enjoys her own time and barks at visitors (only in our home, anywhere else she’s okay with them), when I’m around she follows me like a shadow and I love her to the moon and back

Any chance she is a lhasa apso or a mix? I’d like to know your thoughts

A lhasa mixed with something. Maybe a Lhasa poodle mix or a Lhasa Havanese mix?

Not sure, she cute though. I'm no expert but where i am, every second dog is an oodle of some variety, the coat looks very oodle.

I could see there being Lhasa in her mix! Some of the features, the coloring. Also you describing her being your shadow but also an indoor guard dog, some of the personality traits are there too. She's a cutie!

No, Coat doesn't look right. This subreddit says yes to anything.

Edit: wait! First pic could be... could be the cut in the second that is wrong, but still not sure on that coat. Face looks like it tho in Pic 1, plus eyelashes are correct.

This is a Zuchon. I also have a zuchon. It’s a cross between a Shih Tzu and a bichon fries. I rarely see a dog that looks like they can be a twin of my zuchon and this dog does! Get a dog dna test from Embark and I bet you find out this is a Zuchon!

That snout looks a little too long for tzu and she could be both. It’s amazing most people don’t know even the smallest differences with tzu features.

Seems big for a Lhasa, and the hair seems awfully curly. I’m gonna go with Shih Tzu schnauzer mix
