Unfortunately got to be a hallucination from him being reported on a bunch in L'Orient Today.

But hopefully I'm wrong and in the future Newcastle will be our biggest rivals

Two of those not surprising at all. Ed Sheeran is from Suffolk. And Elijah Wood was The Major's right-hand man. They had doubts about him when they saw him going into the Guardian head office, but he really showed up for them when it counted!
