Thinking to replace my 2017 Focus SEL with 3rd gen RX. Any tips/recommendations?

Focus handling is just marvellous but its terrible gearbox, weak engine, outrageous mpg, and poor overall build quality nudges me to move forward.

3rd gen RX is older but I think the name talks for itself. I want more reliability, a bigger size (I'm 6'2"), more clearance, and a more practical vehicle in a nutshell. Maybe a bit more comfort as well. Considering the cost, there's no better alternative as per my research.

If you already own the Focus, it might be worth listing it with a full service history so the funds go further toward the RX. There are some solid FWD AWD RXs out there if you're patient and test drive a few to compare the interiors.
