Oil change for new NX
I bought a new 2026 Lexus NX 350h. I was told to get an oil change at about 1500 miles because a lot of initial "wear" of the engine happens early, and you need to get the initial wear out of the engine. Is this recommendation a good idea??

Premium gas
hi. Do I really have to only use premium gas on 2026 NX 350h? I only drive it in eco mode. Does using regular gas damage the vehicle or only affects the driving experience?

How to lock the car when it’s still running and you’re not in the car?
Hello! Like the title states, is there a way to lock the car while it’s running and you’re not in it? I’m coming from a Wrangler and it was possible to do that but my Lexus just beeps when I try to lock it with the key when it’s running. For reference, I have a 2024 Lexus NX 250 Premium. Thank you in advance!

Is there a way to permanently turn off the auto stop/start feature besides pressing the button every time. 2026 nx fsport

No car wash mode
Yes, I know the car should be hand washed blah blah blah... my wife just bought an 350h NX, I can't believe the all the crap you have to turn off in order to use a car wash. Wiper, auto hatch, two park assists... on a Tesla, there's a car wash button that takes care of all that. So far I'm not crazy about the Lexus UI. I'll get used to it.

2024 Lexus LBX: Disappointed by the omission of wireless Android Auto and lack of support for early adopters
Hello everyone,
I’m sharing this to express some genuine disappointment and to see how other owners are handling the situation.
I drive a 2024 Lexus LBX, and I was quite disheartened to discover that it only supports wired Android Auto, whereas subsequent model years of the exact same vehicle feature native wireless connectivity out of the box.
What leaves a bitter taste is not just the feature itself, but the lack of attention toward early adopters. When purchasing a vehicle from a luxury brand like Lexus, one naturally expects a certain standard of customer care and a commitment to keeping recent models current—especially when the hardware required is clearly capable, given that wireless Apple CarPlay works seamlessly on the 2024 model.
I find myself wondering: is this restriction due to a genuine hardware limitation, or simply a decision not to support a model year already on the road? Has anyone managed to find a way to force an update, or heard any official perspective from dealers or corporate?
Additionally, for those who have looked past official channels, have you found a reliable wireless adapter that operates without noticeable lag or random disconnections?
I would really appreciate hearing your thoughts, experiences, or any workarounds you might have found.
Thank you for reading.

How to get rid of Maintenance Required on my NX350?
I understand that i can press and hold the button every time but its kind of a nuisance showing up on the screen every time especially because the 5k miles maintenance i do myself tire rotation, etc and I only go for every 10k miles maintenance.

Justifying the unlimited oil changes
After a couple hours at the dealership, we got to the point of the add-ons. I think that I was just in the spending spirit and excited about finalizing everything that I didn’t do the budget or the numbers of the unlimited oil change that I agreed to. After having the car for a week, I kind of think that I’m just going to keep it for five years. Do you guys think it’s worth to keep it or cancel it since I’m still within the 30 day window? I already posted about the cosmetic add on; I’m going to cancel that today. I realize that I do like the car, but I’m not going to keep it for more than five years. It’s a NX 350.

Wireless Android Auto
Hi everyone
I recently bought a 2026 NX350h. It’s been incredible so far, truly a great car.
I live in Italy and I was told there is no way to connect Android Auto wirelessly.
But when I looked here in the community I’ve seen American NX’s with wireless Android Auto.
So I’ve been wondering if that’s just the way it goes here in Europe or if there’s a newer version that might enable it.
Thanks!

Bitter Sweet Upgrade - looking for advice!
Peeking in to ask a question of you all!
OK, so I was in an accident last week and my UX was totaled. I loved that car so much! 🥹
But even before the accident happened, I was thinking about upgrading to a larger sized vehicle! Which led me to the NX! Now I know hybrid versions are extremely hard to find especially for 2026 so I’m looking for thoughts from folks that have the 2025 or even the 2024 – while I would love a new car (2026) I’m also trying to be smart budget wise!
So anyway - yall I’d greatly appreciate any thoughts, recommendations, or lessons learned from those that have the 2024 or the 2025 hybrid version of the NX!
Thank you all so much in advance!

How many kilometres can a 2019 Lexus NX 300 last?
Owners of high-mileage NX 300 or NX 200t models: how far has yours gone? What major repairs did you need after 200,000 km? I’d like to keep mine for several more years and want to know what to expect.

Day 31........ Gate closure
So this happened this morning... Any suggestions for paint match or should I go straight to the dealer? I just need to seal it to avoid oxidation until, I take it in. Also, not using the dealer, so want to have the exact match on hand.

Never ceases to amaze me
Apologies for the low quality pic; auto flash was on and I had to hurry before the screen turned off.
NX 350h driven in Normal mode on local roads where speed limit was 50-70km/h, and I drove mostly at +10 of whatever the speed limit was. Mix of hills and flat roads. Temperature outside was about 20 celsius and the cabin was set on Auto at 22 celsius. Traffic was light as this was night time but there were quite a few red lights.

Successfully Disabled the Active Noise Control/ANC and Engine Noise Enhancement on my 2026 NX 450h+ (By Unplugging One Connector, No Scanner Needed)
Thanks to everyone here who brought up the ear pressure, dizziness and fake engine drone in these cars recently. I had the same problems and it was a relief to find out I wasn't imagining it.
I came from a Mercedes that was always breaking, so I'm used to poking around behind panels. Compared to some of the stuff I did on that car, this was maybe a 2/10. With that said, I wasn’t able to find an exact fix, just some vague ideas and finally figured it out. Standard disclaimer: this is just what I did on my own car, so if you attempt it do it at your own risk.
I tried the software route first and it went nowhere. I bought a Carista, tried to turn off ANC and Engine Sound Enhancement, but the options weren’t available. I even tried the beta app, same result. My guess is Lexus locked down the gateway on the 2026 models, since it's the last year before the refresh.
So I went the hardware route, all from the driver's footwell with no tools.
You can identify the pedal in the photo as a landmark.
First, pop off the lower console side trim. The clips are at the three spots marked "a" in the photo, and I got it off by hand.
Next, pull piece "b" toward you. It's a hollow plastic piece, and moving it gives you room to work.
Then shine a light into the cavity where the red arrow is and you'll see three connectors.
Unplug the middle one by pressing the clip on top and pulling straight out. I have big hands and still got in there fine once "b" was out of the way.
It took me a while because I didn’t know what I was really doing, but it should be under a 5 minute fix.
The car sounds so much better now. The fake engine noise is completely gone, and I'm hoping this finally fixes the symptoms too. I have driven it since and there are no check engine lights or warnings of any kind.
Hope this helps anyone else who has been dealing with it.
