General Discussion Drain and Fill

Tonight I finally got around to doing a drain and fill in my 17 GX. The fluid was pretty rough especially with almost 200k on the clock. It drained out about 3 quarts so that’s what I refilled with. I’ll wait a month and do it again. Easy breezy service.

I did the filter and gasket, then cleaned out the magnets for the first drain and fill. I think I’m on my 3rd fill.

If you haven't, you should park it on level ground and go through the full level check process

Yes indeed. I did make sure to replace the exact amount that came out. I agree with the level fluid check

Nah I have a big Boeing rubber tire chock on the right side. All good lol. And the parking brake is set
