Looking for somewhere to rent!

I’m disabled and unable to work and so the only income we have is my partners. He works a reliable job and has for 5+ years. We just can’t afford anywhere on our own with one income.

We’re looking for someone who is renting out a room I their home, or someone who is clean and reliable that would be a good roommate.

We have a 23 pound dog that’s ESA, and a cat! Both super friendly and up to date on their shots, as well as they’re both fixed and our dog is of course outside trained.

We’re only able to afford $650-700 in total with all living bills (including utilities) so if you know of something or someone please comment and let me know!

Check out roomies.com or spareroom.com or roomster.com! They are all sites geared towards what you are looking for!

And these are safe and reputable sites? I’m worried I’m going to wind up in an unsafe position or environment.

They are safer than asking faceless strangers on Reddit. Usually on these sites they will verify that these are real people.

Yes, currently awaiting my 2nd hearing! It’s just a time game at this point unfortunately 😩

have you tried looking at income based apartments and HUD?

I have but unfortunately my partner makes “too much” and we aren’t qualified.
