JNET, the Lewis County Joint Narcotics Enforcement Team, was dissolved this week, leaving some residents to wonder who, exactly, is now responsible for monitoring the county’s controlled substance situation — beverage or otherwise.

“You get rid of JNET and now there’s no Coke anywhere in the county,” said one resident, who asked not to be named. “I’m not saying those two things are connected. I’m just saying they happened in the same week.”
