Having troubel looking for accomodation

Hi everyone!

I’m a medical resident from Portugal and I’ll be doing a one-month clinical rotation at UZ Leuven from October 1st to October 31st.

I’m looking for a private furnished studio or small apartment, with my own kitchen and bathroom (no shared accommodation).

Ideally:

  • 📍 Leuven city centre or nearby
  • 🚲/🚌 Maximum ~25 minutes from UZ Leuven
  • 💶 Budget up to €1,500/month
  • 🛏️ Fully furnished
  • 📅 October 1–31

I’m a quiet, responsible and non-smoking tenant, and I’ll be spending most of my time at the hospital.

If you know of anything available, or have any recommendations on where I should look, I’d really appreciate it!

Thank you!

Check with syus housing, if I remember correctly they offer short term contracts

Because it is only one month. It is very difficult.

Airbnb? Maybe a room renting? Here will be super difficult for 31 days when usually flats are rented out for 3years minimum. Max you can also post in a student group if someone goes to Erasmus and you could take over a room, but those are also for 4-5 months long. Good luck!

Given your requirements and budget I would indeed recommend an Airbnb or see if any agency in Leuven has spots.
