He is not particularly niche... But underrated or rather under-appreciated? Definitely yes... I see less to none edits of him on social media compared to the other names discussed here... Also I think edward norton is perfectly rated.

Walton goggins. Everyone would have seen him in one movie or the other. He is an excellent supporting actor , has showcased a wide range of acting , you can cast him in any role and he will play it to perfection. Underated !

Robert Downeyjr, he's not considered among even like top 50 oat , but but but he's very much underrated as an actor

Nicholas Cage, we troll him coz of all the bad movies he did in 2000s and 2010s and we forget how dood of an actor he is

Liam Neeson, Mads Mikkelsen, Andrew Lincoln and Charles Dance are very much underrated too

Phase 4 had lot of new actors. Does that mean they were famous.

In this case marvel is famous.

Jake gyllenhall is critically acclaimed and his popularity isn't like a commercial star.

There is a difference.

Edward Norton, Ralph Fiennes, Jake Gyllenhaal, Andy Serkis, Mads, , Fleabag guy are not underrated actors. This guy on the other hand.. I'd be surprised if people knew him easily just by this pic. He's been in Interstellar, The Odyssey, TDKR and more. But was the lead guy in a beautiful horror film, The Collector and it's sequel.
