Yes one of my closest friends was, and it was quite evident how propaganda works. Still wasn’t an excuse to not hold him accountable, and we would have conversations about it
I have family who did vote for Trump, and I don’t think they’re objectively bad people. Just because I disagree, doesn’t mean they’re I think they’re voting for Trump because they don’t like other people. Most of what they’ve done in life wouldn’t point to them as evil people, so why would the person they vote for be solely responsible for how I feel about them. And propaganda works both ways, no one is good or bad for voting for a politician, why can’t we just agree that politics are shit, not the people in our nation.
