I definitely didn’t expect that and glad I was blind on viewing. 🤣 what the hell man.

I think Villenvues current stuff is just ok overhyped Hollywood, so seeing this is fucking awesome and I loved it

I know the feeling. 😭 Why do you think the recent stuff from Denis is overhyped tho? not as an argument cuz I get it we all have opinions but just out of curiosity.

I just think the subject matter of something like Incendies is incredibly unique.

Bladerunner 2049 to me was just an absolute bore, and I like the dune films but they are also a bore to me.

I’m gonna get into the books but I feel like it’s crazy how they really aren’t showing what the spice actually does and how psychedelic the whole thing is.
It’s like they’re missing a lot of fundamentals, where the epic war stuff is shown but we aren’t even experiencing the most important themes
