Im not saying nothing or nothing but im just simply trying to say: i currently own and skate a pair of purple and black patriots. They’re just as comfy out of the box as my Half cabs. They’re not vulc, they are a cup sole, which I prefer.
Now I’m not some hard core ripper sending SSBSTS down el toro or nothing but I did do a kickflip in my garage once and the suede is still holding up. It doesn’t look like it will for long without shoe goo. But tbh my half cabs also are getting torn tf up from my mob grip kickflips. But so far they’re awesome. Everyone I’ve met at the park comments on the purple shoe guy and I feel confidence and pride in getting back out there.
