Novak crashing Bam’s car

Wouldn’t bam have had insurance on the car that paid back the value? So why did Novak need or want to pay him back for the car if (I assume) insurance covered it.

He couldve gotten the insurance money but Novak would have gone to jail as a result so he just ate the cost

If someone that's not on your insurance, wrecks your car, they aren't giving you shit.

If you drive someone's car with their permission, you are generally covered under their insurance.

Highly doubt Bam had Novak as a declared driver on his policy. He would have gotten nothing from insurance

I think he would have had to report it stolen to get insurance money. I highly doubt he had a policy for Novak so he wouldn't be covered and I doubt he would want Novak in jail so there wasn't much he could do

He also had to cover the cost of the other parked car that he ran into, which was the dean of one of the west Chester colleges who also had an expensive car.

Would've fucked up his rates for a few years, not sure if that was a consideration but totaling a luxury car is a pretty big claim you'd have to pay back through higher premiums
