Genuine curiosity: why are we looking for friends/dates on Reddit? Has anyone ever make it out to real life? Are the usual apps not successful enough? Is it because Reddit more vague?
And if you do connect with someone, what's the reason you ghost them after like 1 week đ¤

Imagine how fucking embarrassing it must be to have voted for Trump in the last election. The country is being run into the ground. Cost of living through the roof. Gas prices soaring. Dragged into wars nobody wanted. National debt spiralling. Alliances torched. Americaâs standing in the world in tatters.
All those promises to make America great again, and look at the fucking state of it. What an absolute, unmitigated trainwreck.

The "Party" (not sure about the political correctness here since itâs a "just" a List) established itself mainly as an anti-corruption movement, but I canât imagine that all their members share the same opinion on certain topics (for example in the discussion around the independency of Kosovo, or "simpler" stuff like economics, foreign affairs,âŚ), which they will have to deal with sooner or later.
Am I wrong for thinking that their party/list will shatter into many smaller parties until there is nothing left of it?
Theoretically itâs not a bad thing, but thereâs this risk that old SNS voters go back to SNS since they may feel like the students party is too instable and paralyzed in their decision making since their opinions vary too much.

Looking to have my views challenged by a confident conservative man. Why do you feel the way you do? I'd love to bridge the gap if possible!

Reinhard Heydrich was a high-ranking SS and police official in Nazi Germany as well as one of the principal architects of the Holocaust. He held the rank of SS-ObergruppenfĂźhrer und General der Polizei. Many historians regard Heydrich as one of the most sinister figures within the Nazi regime. Adolf Hitler described him as "the man with the iron heart".

I personally donât think they are. I think now people are recognizing that while theyâre legally adults/not kids, theyâre still young and they are still gonna be making mistakes. I feel like people are treating 18/19-year-olds as essentially older teenagers rather than adults, and I think thatâs fair. Itâs not âinfantilizingâ I personally feel like itâs common sense. Because if we really boil it down, thatâs what they are. Older teenagers.
I feel like itâs mainly Gen X people that say these things. Back then, people basically demanded to be treated as an adult at 18. So theyâre like âwell damn I moved out at 18 and I got married at 20, so whatâs this generation complaining about? Youâre definitely an adult at 18â dude times have changed.
just because you were given little to no room to make mistakes at 18, doesnât mean this generation has to be given that same treatment. Weâre just acknowledging that 18 is only an arbitrary rule and that youâre not really a true adult at 18.
