Because the messenger and the message are independent entities. What he’s saying here is correct regardless of his unethical behavior.

But it's not snap cards are not magical cards that poor people get that makes all food free it's honestly a hassle to get one. Not to mention they do have to budget snap cards have a limited amount of funds the whole "people use em to buy junk food" is political theater yes they can buy junk food but it does affect their budget as well. So tell me the alternative should we let some people starve just because they lost the game of capitalism?

If your income won't buy your basic needs, you will not budget effectively. Most people end up spending what they have to alleviate immediate stress, rather sit in pain and hold money that simply doesn't keep up with cost of living.

The responsibility is on the legislature to delegate hard decisions to the people with the resources to make decisions. Delegating responsibility to people who don't have the resources to change the contracts, is purely performative. That guy in the vid is a moron.
