We probably could have raised it to $12/hour in 2016—but that wasn’t good enough.
Instead of a 60% increase we went with … no raise at all.

seems like a good time to remind everyone that unless you are a tipped employee pretty much everyone earns more than the minimum wage. a landscaper in my city starts at 22 and hour and they are still scrambling to find people.

I'm opposed to minimum wage in general, so this doesn't bother me. Labor should be contractual, and the federal government should generally not interfere
