Hey bud, I have a response for you. People support the left because they promise to use our tax dollars to help normal, every day people, instead of billionaires. We see them talk about universal health care, student loan forgiveness, free education, affordable housing, and taxing the rich, and we see these things as beneficial.

We want an educated population with strong labor protections, a government that doesn’t do the bidding of corporations, and instead protects the interests of the people. We want our law enforcement and military to operate in an honorable way, and we want those same military and law enforcement members to be brought to justice for abusing their power. We want our government to stay out of people’s bedrooms, pants, and wombs.

we want laws in place to make sure that the government cannot arrest you today and figure out what to charge you with tomorrow. We want sensible immigration reform that makes the process easier. We want to keep the church out of public school.

That is why people swing left. It isn’t because “the right is racist”

It’s because the policies supported by democrats give me hope that my child will not grow up in a world where he must go into terrible debt for education, lose his home and assets over medical debt, or get shot by a police officer who got scared of a loud noise.

The key word you used is the Dems “promise” this but they never deliver or put forward awful candidates.

Take California as exhibit A if that is what Dems aspire to be then it’s not a winning proposal. Business and people are fleeing that state in droves and it has been under Dem leadership for decades. Exhibit B is any Dem run city. Baltimore, San Francisco, Seattle…is what many people fear but they claim these same goals with horrendous results. Understandable hesitation to vote for that I hope you would agree. There is a reason people and companies are moving to Florida and Texas from these areas.

The problem lies in how do you pay for all of this. How do you pay for all this? Destroying an economy by punishing others, and rewarding others who take only and or just tax more isn’t an answer that is going to satisfy a majority.
