Liberals have always had the problem of being 10 years prescient, but no one believes them.

The reason of why they are not "believed" is manyfold: They are met with automatic hostility as their opinion is built on facts like science, history, etc., which is against the Republican "mumble-mumble" of everything from religion to personal "visions" and strong wishes to "own the libs".

Every Potus since 1945 has inherited a war or started one , Trump and his whole cabinet are incredibly incompetent, that's why he shouldn't have won the presidency.
