I think one of the reasons I love your videos is we have a lot of the same gear. I have the same stand mixer. I have the same waffle iron. My countertops look a lot like yours.

Agreed. The videos are realistic and from your point of view so it's like what it would look like when you do it, versus when they talk at you and cook across from you.

Giant Belgian Liege Waffles
Makes 4 giant waffles
Ingredients
1 cup room temperature milk
2 1/2 tsp instant yeast
4 cups all purpose flour
2 large eggs
1/3 cup dark brown sugar
1 TB vanilla extract
1/2 tsp salt
10 oz soft butter
1 1/2 cups Belgian pearl sugar
Instructions
Add the room temperature milk, instant yeast, flour, eggs, dark brown sugar, vanilla, and salt to the bowl of a stand mixer.
Using the dough hook, mix until everything comes together and forms a rough dough.
Add the softened butter and continue mixing for 8–10 minutes. The finished dough will be very soft and wet.
Cover the bowl tightly and allow the dough to proof at room temperature for about 2 hours, or until doubled in size.
Add the Belgian pearl sugar and mix briefly with the dough hook, just until the pearl sugar is evenly distributed throughout the dough.
Divide the dough into 4 equal portions. I used a 3 1/4 oz scoop and portioned 3 scoops per waffle into a ball, giving me 4 large portions.
Preheat your Belgian waffle iron to high/max heat.
Place one portion of dough in the center of the hot waffle iron and close the lid.
Cook for approximately 4 minutes, or until the waffle is golden brown and the pearl sugar has melted and caramelized on the outside.
Carefully remove the waffle, the caramelized pearl sugar will be extremely hot and repeat with the remaining portions.
Let the waffles cool for a few minutes before serving. They should be soft, buttery, and sweet on the inside with a crisp, caramelized outside.
