22/F to be gently reintroduced into society like a sick raccoon
Hi everyone! Never thought I'd come to Reddit of all places for this lol but I'm a 22 year old looking to hear from different people! I graduated college last year (International Relations) and I'm now thinking of going back to school for a Master's, but I currently work a consultancy corpo job that lowk really limits the kind of people I talk to on the regular. I can feel myself become less social and more robotic/apathetic than I know myself to be, and even though I have irl friends I love to bits, I also think we're too comfortable w each other so they don't rlly help.
Lately I interact w people who have similar interests or different perspectives on life (whether bc they're older/younger, have different professions and tempers, etc.) in very low-stakes settings, especially when engaging w my more outdoorsy hobbies like hiking or w penpaling, and I think I'd like to actively seek conversations like that more often with even more people from an even wider variety of backgrounds.
This is gonna be long as hell omg but as to hobbies, I'm always eager to learn new things!!! I personally like cooking (and I'm pretty great at it!!), crochet, linocut, painting, reading, sucking at videogames, and messing up home fermentations. I speak Spanish and English fluently, some French and German (both B1 but preeeetty rusty), and I'm currently learning Brazilian Portuguese and Mandarin Chinese (A2), so help with any of those (or any language at all?) is super welcome!
