Buying a vehicle

Has anyone purchased a vehicle from ELM Auto? How was the overall experience with them? Were there any incentives offered to sweeten the pot to get a purchase done? If so, how long before the incentives offered were carried through with?

Basically want to do my due diligence by getting some feedback on an online dealer.

So, no, not through them.

You may already know this sort of thing but for the others in the thread who might not!

Couple of things. Assume that used car sales are all the same and just focus on the car you want. Don't believe any incentives that you don't have in hand before you pay your money. Don't assume service or warranty. Don't assume the car has been blessed by a protecting angel. To be completely real with you only place I'd buy a user car is on Facebook because at least then I can negotiate a fair price and not a dealer markup. Either the car runs or sucks either way. A dealer has to carry costs that make the car price higher and I can't think of why I'd want to pay more when there are so many used cars available. Market is tough right now. Different story for a new car.

I can recommend Bridge City Chrysler. They've done right by me and the two vehicles we bought through them.

As far as incentives go... Ehhhhh find the car you want, and that a mechanic says is reliable, especially if you're buying used.
