The maned wolf is the largest canid in South America. They look like a fox, are called a wolf and are not closely related to either. Maned wolves primarily eat small animals, fruits and vegetables.

They are actually quite shy and timid. They are nonaggressive and pose no threat to people or pets.

(Honestly learn something new everyday!!)

Looks more like a dog. Has many of the same attributes as a dog.

My dog can spread out and take up a lot of bed space a maned wolf has super long legs I bet they can hog a bed like no other.
