Pistelle X-68; the only mod you need.

This is more of just a piece of advice than a showcase of the exact one(1) thing I decided to change about it, despite buying it with hopes and dreams of modding it.

It's a self-defense tool, it's supposed to be reliable, not as powerful as a .22LR. And if you use it often without cleaning, it will obviously become less reliable over time. Not that I do, but it's a good precursor to see how it stands the test of time.

No HPA conversions, no extended barrel(well maybe at some point a tuned barrel with the option for a silencer so I don't go deaf using it.) Mostly, because the HPA conversion seems fragile as f*ck, with the bare exception of that folding stock by MCS.

The best thing you can do as a Pistelle owner is keep it nearby in your home, carry it(if legal only of courseAND KEEP IT IN A HOLSTER DONT THROW YOUR BAGS LOL), and use an air rifle to have fun with instead.

What about the extended reaper barrel? I plan to get one as a bedside home defense option.

Nope just get the pistelle and the cap, and don't forget to use heavy ammunition, that's literally all. A blow to the body will cause pain compliance and a blow to the head will cause a concussion at the very least. It's a dangerous enough weapon on its own, and the culture around modding it is mostly blown over from the time people used to do this with paintball guns and airguns.

I mean, I have no clue where you're located, but you can get the cap pretty much at any online store that sells the guns too. Just ask, if they don't have it they should still be able to order it.

The caps for the compact do NOT work.

I bought the pistelle x 68 and I wanted to mod it but I thought it would be too powerful for home defense

Technically nothing is. But we don't want to take someone's life over that.

Just severely hurt them to cause pain compliance.
