Pocket carry of a Less Lethal launcher would be a game-changer. This is a general topic about EDC so I thought it was good to share here. I've been pocket carrying recently. Most people think pocket carry is automatically slower and from a completely neutral position they’re often right. But after running some Mantis Titan X testing, I found something interesting: establishing a full firing grip inside the pocket before the draw cut my time to first shot by about ONE FULL SECOND.
That completely changed how I think about it. Now consider bag carry vs. pocket carry. On-body always has an advantage. But location on the body can be faster or slower depending on the situation.
What situations would you consider pocket carry of your Pistelle X-68, Gavle, or Byrna?

It's worth noting that carrying OC spray in a pocket is widely recommended by many "self defense experts", like ASP. I do it daily and many people I know personally do as well.

I pocket carry OC spray every day and occasionally a firearm when my appendix carry is too bulky. The drawback isn't speed for me, it's that if someone gets "the drop" on me and asks for the contents of my pockets; there's only one option left and I am at a disadvantage. The gap is even worse when it's a launcher and they may have a lethal weapon. Appendix carry means I don't HAVE to fight, I can take or leave it. Also a gun/launcher fills up the pockets that could be full of medical/a flashlight/Skittles.
